TRSA LevelUp™ Supervisory Skills Training Website Privacy Policy
Version 1.0 | Proposed effective date: May 12, 2023
Operator: Voluminant, LLC | Website: https://www.levelupinthelaundry.com | Privacy contact: info@levelupinthelaundry.com
1. Scope and who operates the service
This Privacy Policy explains how Voluminant, LLC (“Voluminant,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information through the LevelUp website, account registration, course enrollment, learning platform, workshops, assignments, and related communications (“Services”). LevelUp is offered in connection with a joint venture involving TRSA. Voluminant administers the website and learning experience; the parties’ respective responsibilities for personal information must be confirmed before publication. This Policy does not by itself transfer intellectual-property ownership or alter the joint venture agreement.
2. Information we collect
We may collect: (a) account and contact information, such as name, work email, employer, job title, telephone, username, and login credentials; (b) enrollment and billing information, including program selection, employer sponsorship, invoices, transaction status, and limited payment details provided by payment processors; (c) learning records, such as attendance, course progress, quiz responses, completion, certificates, instructor feedback, and communications; (d) assignments and Plant BOOST submissions, which may contain operational descriptions, estimates, production measures, photographs, or other materials voluntarily submitted; (e) technical and usage information, including IP address, browser, device information, cookies, logs, and page interactions; and (f) correspondence and preferences. Please do not submit employee personal data, customer names, trade secrets, or confidential plant records unless expressly authorized by your employer and necessary for the assignment.
3. How we use information
We use information to create and manage accounts; enroll learners; deliver courses and workshops; review assignments; assess progress; issue completion records; support learners and sponsoring employers; process transactions; maintain security; troubleshoot and improve the Services; communicate material course information; comply with law; and maintain appropriate business and financial records. We may analyze aggregated or de-identified program activity to improve instruction, assess program effectiveness, and understand common operational challenges, subject to the safeguards below. Marketing communications will include an unsubscribe mechanism where required.
4. Plant BOOST projects, confidentiality, and case-study use
Plant BOOST projects and other assignments may include valuable operational or employer-confidential information. Submission for course assessment authorizes Voluminant and authorized instructors to access, store, evaluate, comment on, and share the submission with the sponsoring employer or designated program administrators as reasonably needed to deliver the course. Submission alone does NOT grant Voluminant, TRSA, or any other party an unrestricted right to publish, sell, license, or commercially repurpose identifiable submissions. We may use high-level, aggregated or properly de-identified learnings for internal instructional improvement where lawful and contractually permitted. We will seek separate, affirmative authorization from the appropriate rights holder(s) before using identifiable project details, employer-specific figures, photographs, quotations, or substantial adapted case-study content in public marketing, paid case libraries, unrelated products, or other commercial publications. Anonymization alone may not be sufficient if a plant or person could reasonably be identified. Any separate permission must specify permitted uses and should be reviewed by the participant and, where appropriate, the employer.
5. When we share information
We may share relevant information with: (a) service providers supporting hosting, learning management, email, payment processing, analytics, and technical support under appropriate safeguards; (b) authorized instructors, assessors, and administrators; (c) a sponsoring employer, including enrollment, participation, completion, and assignment information as described during registration or sponsorship; (d) TRSA, to the extent necessary for joint-venture administration, program reporting, member enrollment support, and agreed program operations, with data-sharing responsibilities documented between the parties; and (e) legal authorities or transaction counterparties where lawfully required or appropriate. We do not authorize unrelated third parties to use identifiable learner assignments for their own commercial purposes merely because they assist in administering the program. We do not sell personal information for money.
6. Cookies and analytics
The site may use essential cookies for sign-in, security, and course functionality, and analytics technologies to understand site performance. If nonessential advertising or tracking technologies are used, we will provide any notices and choices required by applicable law. Browser settings may limit some cookies, although doing so may affect functionality.
7. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the Services, maintain training and certification records, meet accounting and legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect legitimate business interests. Course completion records will be kept longer than routine usage logs. Assignments containing sensitive plant information should be subject to a documented retention and deletion schedule.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information processed, including access controls and service-provider oversight. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Participants are responsible for protecting account credentials and for ensuring they have permission to submit employer information. Notify us promptly at info@levelupinthelaundry.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
9. Your choices and privacy requests
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, or ask about our information practices, by contacting info@levelupinthelaundry.com. We will respond as required by applicable law, subject to identity verification and lawful exceptions, including records needed for course completion, financial reporting, legal compliance, or dispute resolution. Where applicable law provides additional rights, such as data portability, opt-out, or appeal rights, we will honor them. You may unsubscribe from promotional email by clicking ‘unsubscribe’ in the email footer or by directly requesting list removal at info@levelupinthelaundry.com without affecting necessary course communications.
10. Employer-sponsored accounts
If an employer purchases or sponsors enrollment, it may receive information about its participants’ registration, attendance, progress, completion, and agreed project outcomes. The scope of reporting should be explained at enrollment. Participants should not assume that submissions or feedback are confidential from their sponsoring employer. Employers are responsible for obtaining necessary internal approvals before disclosing plant information or employee data.
11. Children and geographic scope
The Services are intended for professional and adult learners, not children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If we learn that we have done so, we will take appropriate steps to delete it. The Services are operated from the United States; information may be processed in the United States and other locations used by our providers, subject to applicable safeguards.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Policy as our practices or legal requirements change. We will post the revised version with its effective date and provide additional notice or obtain consent where required for material changes. Continued participation alone will not be treated as consent where law requires a separate affirmative choice.
